Hello! 

We are fun loving, down to earth people who hope to share their lives by expanding our family to include a son or daughter.  The best gift we could receive is a baby boy or girl from you to offer our love and encouragement in making sure all their dreams come true.  We realize how tough it must be for you to be investigating this possibility.  We would never pretend that we know everything you must be going through but we understand the courage it takes and hold you in the highest regard for being able to make this decision.  We are easy to work with and are happy to support open adoption if so desired.

We started out as good friends and within a couple of years a relationship blossomed and we've been together for 11 years.  Our experience with children includes nieces, nephews, lots of friends’ kids and a beautiful baby boy that we fostered for 7 months from birth.

We live near London, Ontario in the country with lots of yard space.  It would be fabulous to one day have a child running around playing and enjoying the outdoors with us.  We plan to provide an exciting playground area with lots of things for him/her to explore.  We think imagination can be more important than knowledge and look forward to nurturing this within our family. 

Our parenting styles would be very similar to our own philosophy on life and our personalities which are easy going and non prejudicial.  We believe in providing a home with structure and routine but will encourage thinking for yourself.  Honesty, integrity and respect are important traits to us so we will work at instilling the same values.  We also love to laugh and there's nothing better than hearing the giggles of a happy baby.

We aren't religious people but don't feel any negativity towards those that have religion in their lives.  We understand the importance of it and the history behind most.

Our extended families and friends are very happy that we have decided to adopt.  They are tickled pink to know that someday a child will become part of the family and everyone welcomes this with open arms.

Both of us have a few adopted family members within our extended families and I (Cath) was adopted as well!  So your child will have a wonderful mentor when asking questions and working through their feelings of being adopted as they grow up.

Employment
I'm a successful computer business owner and operator.  This will work out great when raising a child since I can make my own schedule.

Education
I graduated from college with two different degrees in radio broadcasting and computer sciences.

Interests
I love the outdoors and trying new things to continuously challenge myself.  This includes camping, hiking trails and any water activity.  I adore animals and love our two dogs, Jasper and Coltrane.  Other interests include photography, movies, music of all kinds and I'm a huge hockey fan.

Extended Family
My immediate family consists of my parents, my two older brothers, their wives and six nieces and nephews.  I also have lots and lots of cousins, aunts and uncles.  It was a good life growing up in such a large family environment. 

Adventures
Some of my adventures have included white water rafting, sky diving, hang gliding, zip lining and rock climbing.

Employment
I work as a materials supervisor for a company that provides phone, cable and internet access.

Education
I graduated from college with a business purchasing diploma.

Interests
I love music and playing my guitar.  I like camping, landscaping and building things in my shop.  I have a soft spot for pets and love our dogs, Jasper and Coltrane, and enjoy spending time with them.  Other interests include movies, cooking, hockey, and golf.

Extended Family
My immediate family includes my dad and sister.  I have a few cousins, aunts and uncles but definitely not as many as Cath!  I can appreciate the positive aspects of growing up in a smaller family unit.

Adventures
I have enjoyed many camping and hiking trips.  I'm a hobby musician which has provided me the opportunity to perform in many festivals, fairs, nightclubs and charity functions throughout southwestern Ontario.
